This week we’ve seen lots and lots of colour changes to a more autumnal/wintery hue.
My lovely model this week at the Loreal academy had a colour change from purple and blonde highlights to a dark blonde copper base. Still keeping her copper for the winter, I just added a brighter red/copper on top of a dark copper base. I had to do two gentle cleanses and one deep cleanse to remove the violet from the hair and here we have a clearer copper tone. All done with L’Oréal Smart bond.
With my colour degree coming to an end, I can now take on new clients again. Also this week I got to get my hands on this lovely new lady’s hair. We went from blonde to a dark blonde ash undertones with a clear gloss to finish. A subtle change but a big difference.
And last, but not least for this week, the lovely Joanna switched her colour to darker, more wintery tones. I just love the red curls.
Thank you for reading and following our news, I’ll be back with more next week
I’ve noticed a change in colour requests this week in particular. It must be something to do with the weather getting colder. Brrr. On Tuesday I took my weekly trip to Manchester on a train for the Colour Specialist Training and here are the results on my beautiful model, I just love the red tones…
We have a promotion at the salon at the moment for Nioxin system which is a hair care range that uses advanced technologies designed specifically for those with thinning hair to create thicker and fuller looking hair. After the appointment, you can book the same for only £10 if you fall in love with Nioxin. Wow! (payable on the day of the booking)
So here is a little offer to get the Christmas juices flowing. We are putting together more offers that I will share with you in the coming weeks.

Hey, here’s another week gone by and what a blast we’ve had. As you know by now, I just love playing with colours and this week’s mix of beige and clean blonde highlight with ash/gold base produced this stunning result.
Continuing with the colour theme – just look at this transformation from brown to red. Wonderful!
And this one with a full head of baby lights by Loreal.

I hope you are having a wonderful weekend and keep an eye out for next week’s updates,
Last weekend was a busy one doing bridal hair for the beautiful Jodie and her bridal party. It was a fantastic day and it was great to be part of such a special occasion. Hair up for weddings is something I enjoy very much.
The week has been full of great colour work as well as another day at the L’Oréal Colour Specialist training that I am enjoying very much.
Keep a look out on out Facebook too, we are running an early Christmas competition, join in for a chance to win.
Have a great weekend,
Well, another busy week is behind us, as well as the salon work I celebrated my birthday too. The girls were lovely and decorated the salon on the day to surprise me.
Going into autumn we are seeing clients are choosing darker tones for their hair, even the blondes have an autumn hint to them.
And this week’s favourite is the hair up with the Simone who looked like a princess.
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend and I’ll be back next week with more updates.
Lately it feels like the weeks are flying by, so many lovely clients and different hair transformations it’s a joy to come to the salon every day.
I loved this hair-up style we did for the gorgeous Becki, the two tone hair colour really makes this style come to life.
My L’Oréal training is continuing and I had great news that I have passed last week’s assignment with flying colours so you can rest assured I do know what I am doing when you trust me with your hair.
This week’s favourite colour of mine was this gorgeous red on the lovely Carol – just the right shade for her complexion and to welcome the autumn in.
We are still looking for a couple of hairdressers to join our team so if you hear of anyone, please send them my way.
Until next week,
Another hectic week is behind us, time flies when you’re having fun
I had my first assignment at the L’Oréal Colour Specialist course I am enrolled on and can’t wait to get the results next week. We had further lessons and this week’s colour is L’Oréal 6.66 which is quite an intense but warm red.
We are now also a SMARTBOND salon. SMARTBOND is L’Oréal’s new protective and strengthening service, specifically designed for the hairdressers. It is a unique system that protects and strengthens the hair during technical services (such as bleach and haircolour).
I have more great news as we are looking for hairdressers to join our growing team at the Wirral salon. Anyone out there that would like to start their own business but wants to be part of a supportive and growing company, we would love to speak to them. Please help us spread the word and send them my way for a chat.
